Spiral Web Consulting has recently released a new product that we feel you may be interested in. This new product is a revolutionary financial program called GrpMindr. This new product is useful for anyone in a financial situation in which multiple people are putting money into the pool.
GrpMindrās main goal is to make group finances easier to manage. We use an algorithm we developed to take a group of debts and simplify them to the lowest possible amount. We built this application out of an effort to make our own financial spending easier to manage, and we have decided to release it to the public in order for them to benefit from it as well. To learn more about GrpMindr, please read more on our F.A.Q. page.
If you have any specific questions or comments, please feel free to let us know using our feedback form.
The newest version of Google Analyticator has so many great features I simply had to write a dedicated blog post for it. The biggest thing we have done is add a Google Analytics Summary widget on the WordPress dashboard which mimics the Google Analytics dashboard. You can now view your sites stats without ever having to visit your Google Analytics page. This will be incredibly useful for anyone who is stat conscientious (let’s be honest, if you are using this plugin, you are into stats!). Below is an example of the widget:
Last night, the A Small Orange was hacked. We have all of our sites hosted on A Small Orange, and we are on one of the server’s that was effected. Fortunately, we only received a brief period of downtime and we were not one of the unfortunate customers who had their accounts deleted.
I would like to take a moment and relay a message from A Small Orange to all of our visitors.
“WARNING: During a short period of time during the attack, your site may have been redirected to a malware page promoting a “Web Accelerator” program. This file contains a virus identified as “Backdoor.Win32.VanBot!IK.” Though the exposure time was very short, (less than 30 minutes) there is a possibility that users may have downloaded it. I would suggest informing your users of this and recommend that they run a virus scan and take measures to ensure their system is clean if they happened to download it.”
As long as you were not redirected last night when attempting to access our site, you should be fine. If you were redirected to a site, please be sure to check for spyware/viruses. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience. This is something that was completely out of our hands and uncontrollable. We appreciate your cooperation with this incident.
With WordPress 2.8 releasing a short time ago, we have been hard at work tweaking our plugins to ensure they function properly in this new version. We have fixed a few bugs and have added some great new features.
